If you donated via our website, your donation is usually processed directly, but there are a few exceptions. They are the following:
- PayPal for monthly donations
When you sign up for your very first monthly donation with PayPal, it will not be charged from your account immediately. It can take up to 24 hours until the payment is deducted from your account.
- SEPA Direct Debit (EUROS)
SEPA Direct Debit (only for EU donors) is a slow payment method by default. It usually takes around 5 business days until you see the payment successfully processed from your account. If you prefer to see your donation from your account sooner but still want to make use of bank transfers, you can also make your own transfer from your bank using the following details.
- ACH Direct Debit (USD)
ACH Direct Debit is only for US donors, and is similar to SEPA Direct Debit in that it will take around 5 business days until it is fully processed. It can also take even longer if you fill out your account details manually rather than connecting to the bank in the payment interface. You will then be asked to confirm the payment in your account, via a follow-up email a few days after your payment intent. If you prefer quicker payment methods, you can use a card or PayPal. If you prefer to see your donation deducted from your account sooner but still want to make use of wire transfers, you can also make your own transfer from your bank using the following details.
