MISSION TO METRICS
The mission of The Ocean Cleanup is to develop and scale advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. To enhance our mission, we are implementing new technology to better detect high-density plastic areas (hotspots) in the ocean using customized drones and drifters. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning internal requirements and creating a comprehensive delivery plan. You’ll engage with suppliers, partners, and subcontractors to ensure the correct sourcing of equipment. Additionally, you’ll oversee the design, manufacturing, and testing of products, ensuring they meet quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
You will report directly to the Ocean Director and collaborate closely with project leads and project managers to achieve your goals.
"We work in a fun, fast-paced, and innovative environment. We are looking for a Project Lead who can bring proven solutions to a challenging offshore environment. This role will allow you to combine professional excellence with a meaningful purpose.” – Joël Jansen, Ocean Director.
