The QHSE team supports driving our mission with a safety culture, appropriately addressing change management and continual risk management to fulfill the needs of our partners, funders and regulatory bodies regarding quality, health, safety and environment matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The QHSE Manager will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of QHSE management, including compliance assurance, incident investigation, document control, risk assessment, continuous improvement initiatives, reporting and analysis, and team collaboration.

Some of the key deliverables & outcomes will include:
  •  All QHSE documents are reviewed and updated annually
  • The integrated management system complies with international standards of Assurance in QHSE topics, as well as the Chain of Custody
  • Core H&S processes are implemented – RI&E, BHV, PPE, Risk Management, Incident Management, and Mobilization Onshore/Offshore, among others.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • QMS development: contribute to developing, updating, and implementing QHSE policies and procedures in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, sector standards, and partners/funders requirements.
  • Assurance model: safeguard the compliance of our assurance model (Chain of custody and QHSE) by managing the non-conformities and monitoring the mitigation plans on the risks identified across the organization. 
  • Corrective/Preventive: Assist in identifying root causes and contributing factors, support implementing recommended corrective actions, and check its effectiveness periodically.
  • Document management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date QHSE documentation, records, and reports. Ensure the proper documentation of risk assessments, incidents, complaints, audits, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Continuous improvement: Participate in QHSE improvement initiatives and projects. Contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancing QHSE performance, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze QHSE performance metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) continuously. Generate reports and presentations where needed.
  • Incident management/Complaint handling: Take over the investigation of QHSE incidents, accidents, and near misses. Manage the complaint process and provide a report to the Head of QHSE in a timely manner.
  • QHSE team support: provide ongoing support to the Head of QHSE and the cross-functional needs wherever needed.
  • Prevention Officer: At least 1 day per week, this role serves as the Prevention officer for the entire organization (Risk Inventorisation and Evaluation)

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS  
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management focusing on Risk Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a matrix organization, facilitating quality assurance, quality control in production or manufacturing, health and safety, or compliance management
  • Experience with various project management methods involving delivering technological products and operations offshore/onshore/
  • Experienced in Chain of Custody applications is a plus
  • Knowledge of QHS policies, ISO Standards for integrated management systems (ISO 9001/45001/14001), legislation, and sector standards
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken); Dutch is an advantage
  • Experienced in working in a global environment and across diverse cultures and time zones
  • Advanced skills in ICT / MS Office applications

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
  • Work permit: A valid European Union work permit is highly preferred for this position (The role is based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands);
  • Starting date: As soon as possible (ideally June 2024 Latest)
