In order to achieve our mission, we need a strong brand and visual identity to spread our mission. As the multimedia volunteer, you will support the Communications team to successfully document The Ocean Cleanup's activities.

We are currently looking for brilliant Multimedia Volunteers, to support our Creative Content Director in documenting The Ocean Cleanup’s activities with high-quality content.

The Ocean Cleanup’s communications department is responsible for the brand and visual identity of The Ocean Cleanup. The company has a vibrant online presence and community, and we offer you a chance to work with our specialist team and learn from the best in the business.

The Multimedia Volunteer handles tasks such as: 


  • Editing
  • Classifying
  • Tagging
  • Exporting


  • Pre-editing works and first cuts
  • Syncing multi-cam footage on timelines
  • Create structured footage packages


  • Handling file conversions
  • Synchronizing backups
  • Resolving file naming conflicts


  • Assisting creative director on shooting days
