The mission of The Ocean Cleanup is to develop technology to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. You will be responsible for supporting and helping to structure the workload of our Management Team so they can fully focus on our mission.

The Management Assistant will help the Executive Assistant in providing support to the Management Team. The Management Team consists of our CEO, Managing Director, CFO, and Director of Operations and is leading our crew to achieve the impossible: ridding the world’s oceans of plastic. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and scheduling (external) meetings and teleconferences 
  • Travel support
  • Maintaining email inboxes 
  • Filtering and responding to speaking engagements and events requests
  • Assisting with data entry and CRM database maintenance in Salesforce
  • General administrative support
  • Any ad hoc support 


  • At least 3 years of experience as a management assistant
  • Work experience in an international organization 
  • Knows how to prioritize and organize daily workload
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Fluent in English
  • At ease with MS Office and Sharepoint
