Mission to Metrics

The mission of The Ocean Cleanup is to develop technology to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. In order to do so, we need to design, develop and deploy offshore cleanup systems that extract plastic out of our oceans. You will be responsible for managing the engineering division within the Oceans Team to ensure timely, high-quality and precise engineering analyses.

You will succeed when the engineering portfolio’s milestones and deliverables are completed accurately and on time. This will result in a suitable and robust cleanup system for offshore operations.

"The Ocean Cleanup is a technology driven project that is making an impact by doing. We have a strong passion for clean oceans and love challenging the status quo. We are looking for an innovative Engineering Manager who will manage our engineers to do the right things and to coach them to do it in the right way. A unique opportunity to make a difference for a better planet and to put your skills to good use!” Henk van Dalen, Director Oceans
